Rouening Saturday

Yesterday, we tried retracing Camille Pissaro’s footsteps to find the exact spot where he painted ‘Le Pont Boïeldieu à Rouen. We didn’t quite get there, but I think we came close!
The day was filled with exploring, lots of walking! We wandered through the old market, we sat and had lunch by stunningly beautiful Rouen cathedral. We found a huge art supply store - I treated myself to a travel watercolour set 😊
One of the highlights was discovering the breathtaking 16th-century Astronomical Clock, the Gros-Horloge, beautifully framed by an ornate stone archway. Rouen has been an absolute feast for the eyes so far – every corner seems to reveal another piece of history and beauty!Читать далее
