Arid Aralsk

A remote area that gets few tourists, so locals ask if we are a research or National Geographic team 😊. This destination too leaves a lasting impact but for a different reason – a human ecological disaster. The once large and fish rich Aral Sea now severely diminished due to Russian river/water mismanagement resulting in fishing villages distant from the seashore.
