Buzzancone e Calanova

We left Portoferraio in the morning to visit the Buzzancone beach on the far south east part of the island.
We parked our car in Calanova after a long off road drive. From there we took a path to Buzzancone beach. Once reached the little beach we didn’t like it to much and we kept walking up to Punte Nere but we could not find a path to reach the beach.
We decided to walk back and we spot a very small path that took us to a rock just in front of a beautiful rocky island covered with seagulls. We dove in the sea and eat our sandwich in possibly the most peaceful place on the island.Read more
