  • Argentina, here i am.

    October 3, 2019 in Argentina ⋅ 🌙 8 °C

First night was absolutely amazing. My roommates Flo and Cucu invited me downstairs for a pizza and wine party. Wine was shit, so was the pizza 😂, but the company was awesome.

There were about 15 of us from Chile, America, Sweden, Germany, Cuba all hanging out together, drinking Fernet (disgusting) and laughing and dancing.

I took over the music because my ears were beginning to bleed lool. Then it became EPIC. WE WENT TO A DRAG QUEEN SHOW!!!! I felt like this was my destiny, I felt so happy. Daya got in stage and won us a free bottle of prosecco! I didn't crawl in to bed until 5.30, over 24 hours since my last sleep but well worth it. I knew the rest of my travels would be amazing!

  • Vineyards, Distilleries and Steak

    October 4, 2019 in Argentina ⋅ ☀️ 17 °C

Today, was an epic day. I visited 4 wineries, an olive oil vineyard and a cachaça factory. The wine was amazing and I definitely got my moneys worth. Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile used to be my favourite but now it's definitely an Argentinian Malbec. I'll be making the parents try it for sure.

Also, afterwards I had the best steak I've ever had in my life and it was so CHEAP. Never paying top dollar for steak again although, I may have to ease off the red meat soon. Fatty fatty boom boom.

  • Zip lining and White water rafting

    October 5, 2019 in Argentina ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

Today I took to the water and met up with some people from the hostel. We battled the rocky waters and some people got stuck #notme!.

The instructor only spoke little English so I had to concentrate extra hard and it was a success. I then did the zip line which was amazing until the dog tried to bite my bum 😂Read more

  • Horse whisperer.. NOT

    October 6, 2019 in Argentina ⋅ ⛅ 20 °C

So I went horse riding through the Mendozan wild one my horse (Mule) and was met with an awesome Sunset and delicious traditional asado and red wine, I'm living the dream literally.

Now my horse, I named her mocha because she was beautiful and chocolate. She was also a right Madame. Didn't follow rules, kept on going off for good, was rude and reminded me of a certain person.. me 😒.

So, I treated her how I would like to be treated. Just let her go off and eat and do her thing and we had a much better experience.

    I loved every single second.

  • First day of GAdventures tour

    October 7, 2019 in Argentina ⋅ ⛅ 18 °C

Touched down in Buenos Aires and met up with the tour. We went to a la bomba de tiempo, traditional drum show. Pint of beer in one hand and moving my waist to the base. Welcome to South America!

  • Bike riding through Buenos Aires.

    October 8, 2019 in Argentina ⋅ ☀️ 23 °C

With some of the group we went on a bike ride exploring the counties history and the Influences from Europe, specifically France.

My favourite is the middle finger building which was erected our of revenge. The family that built the cathedral had old money and the new money family wanted their daughter to marry old moneys son. They said no, so they built a huge building in the shape of a middle finger, blocking old moneys view of the Cathedral. The only way to see it, is to go down a little alley named after the daughter they rejected! What a perfect revenge 😂😂.

Later that night, I met up with Flo one last time and she took me to a traditional BBQ. Delicious!

    October 15, 2019 in Brazil ⋅ ☁️ 29 °C

So, after a VERY long drive, we had a quick turnaround and went to the Brazilian side of the Iguassu Falls which was stunning and awesome.

We then had to rush and go sky diving which was such an adrenaline filled experience but I was running on empty. Then, we went to a family BBQ where there were dancers in traditional carnival costume, delicious food and of course, CAIPIRINHA!Read more

  • Waterfalls, Pasta and Cachaça!

    October 18, 2019 in Brazil ⋅ ☁️ 27 °C

So today Lydia and I ventured out on our own and did a 4x4 Jeep tour with Paraty tours. We visited 5 waterfalls; Pedra Branca Waterfall, White Stone Stills, Gold Path Landmark, Tobogã Waterfall, Tarzan's Well and Cassava Flour House, and was able to swim in at least three. We had to hike through the middle of the Atlantic forest, where we saw Pedra Branca waterfall. We also went to Vila de Penha where we saw the Tobogã waterfalls. We had the BEST homemade osso bouco and pasta in Villa Verde whilst watching Ru Paul. What could be better! We also went to two Caçhaca distilleries and got rather tipsy. Definitely one of my favourite days of this trip.Read more

Today, Lyds and I did a Be a local tour and was able to see some sights.

Christ the Redeemer was amazing and I was able to say a prayer at the feet of the statue and felt very grounded in that moment.

Santa Teresa was so beautiful and awesome I felt the faith all around me.

Sugar loaf is where you go for those gorgeous views, being able to see Christ the redeemer by sunset was just amazing.

Last but not least, Lapa steps. Beautiful, I just want you to know, you're my favourite girl.... ❤️
