Couldn't miss Lagos though it too is full of ruddy tourists with peeling skins. Its main claim to fame is the 16thC Slave market, which on closer examination does not exist. There certainly was one here, initially buying West Africans from other West Africans to serve in European households and then degenerating into a transhipment centre for the West Indies and Brazil, but nobody knows where it was.Meer informatie
