On the Beach

Before braving the streets of Palermo I spent the night in the equivalent of Brighton, Mondello. It became popular at the end of the 19thC for tourists from the city seeking a nice beach to promenade on. The pier was built as an added - the only added - attraction in town; being Italian of course it is mainly a restaurant.Leer más
