    September 28 in Japan ⋅ ☁️ 20 °C

    Today we finished our section of the Michinoku Coastal Trail! Before we started, we met a Japanese couple hiking the other direction.

    Our final walk was 5 miles, bringing our total to 77 miles. We made the 10:40 train from Fudai, collected our bag in Kuji, and continued to Hachinohe.

    Now we’re settled into the hotel with a grocery store dinner and very happy legs. A quiet ending to a memorable week on the coast.    Read more
