The first thing we did, when we got to the French Market, was to get an ear of roasted Cajun corn. The corn is made with a selection of spices and seasonings that give it such a delicious flavor.もっと詳しく

Shucking Oysters looks like a difficult and time consuming job. I would imagine it’s kind of dangerous too. If they slip with the knife they use to pry the shells open, it could cause some nasty cuts.
Walking through the French Market actually takes a while because the whole place is several blocks long. We didn’t see everything but we managed to see quite a bit.
We’re ready to leave the French Market and, surprisingly, but didn’t buy anything except food. There’s always lots of good bargains to be had here but I think we did all of our shopping on ourもっと詳しく

We decided to wait a bit outside of the station for the streetcar, closer to the French Market. There was plenty of seating here plus, as a bonus, we were in the shade.
