The rain is coming down at quite a steady rate. I’m hoping the bad weather isn’t going to delay our flight. Like it’s been said in The Crow, “It can’t rain all the time.”

Bryan is driving us to LaGuardia Airport today. It’s faster and less expensive than having to get there in a taxi or arranging an Uber ride.

We’re making very good time since there’s no traffic at all. It’s always so much easier driving around during the week when everyone else is at work,
Dropped Off

We were just dropped off at the Southwest departures terminal and this view of Manhattan caught my eye. I never knew that you could see all of Manhattan from the airport. It looks great!
TSA Check

We had already done the online check in for our flight so our first stop was the TSA checkpoint. I find this to be such a hassle and most of the workers here seem to have real attitude problems.もっと詳しく

Kathy wanted a bottle of water to take on the plane with her so we stopped at the first food kiosk we saw to get one. I was shocked to see them charging $4.59! We can buy the entire case of water,もっと詳しく
Southwest Airlines

We’re going to be flying to Chicago on Southwest Airlines. This is our second time using them and while they are a good airline, I just can’t get used to their bizarre boarding procedures. Iもっと詳しく
Empty Terminal

It’s not that early, so I can’t understand why the terminal is so empty. I don’t mind though. I’d much rather have it like this than deal with crowds.

We’re feeling very happy and excited about going to Chicago. We’ve never been there before and we’re looking forward to seeing the city so much!

The plane is ready to leave and so are we. Why is there always so much procedure and waiting involved with riding on an airplane? Is it really that complicated? I don’t think so.

I don’t know why Southwest Airlines insists on having a boarding process that’s different from every other airline. All it does is create confusion.

I’m past the check in spot and ready to enter the jetway. These corridors seem almost like passages to another world. I’m walking into one in New York City and walk out in Chicago. Fun!
