The flight attendants have come around with snacks and drinks. The snack was something like a Chex Mix which I enjoyed very much. My choice of a drink was water, as always.

I’m really glad that the plane is so empty. It’s so much more comfortable flying with some extra space to stretch out and relax. We’re more used to sold out flights where space is very tight.

The captain has announced that we are now descending and all seatbelts must be fastened. This trip was much quicker than I had expected it to be. I never realized how close New York is to Chicago.

As we came out of the plane, this was my first view of Chicago. It doesn’t really look like much and a view like this could actually be anywhere.
On the Moving Walkway

These moving walkways are always fun, and convenient, to use. I’m wondering why they never appear anywhere other than airports. They would be so efficient anywhere where lots of people are walking.

This security guard saw me taking a video on the walkway and decided to give me a little show. What a great sense of humor and such a good sport! I’m already liking Chicago very much!

We’re passing by the luggage pickup area and, once again, feel so happy that this is an area that we’ll never have to spend time in. We always travel very light and just use a carry on bag. It’sBaca lagi

We had no trouble finding the train that would take us from the airport into the city of Chicago. This ride works out a lot less expensive than getting a taxi!
