It’s all water under the bridge, as the saying goes. I’m surprised to see that a lot of this bridge seems to be made of wood. I would think that all the moisture in the swamps would make thatLäs mer
Our swamp experience is over and we’re back on dry land. I’d say that this was the best thing we’ve done in New Orleans, so far, and I’d definitely like to try it again sometime.
The ride back to New Orleans seemed to go a lot faster than I expected. Kathy napped for a bit so I just munched on some alligator jerky and watched the scenery pass on by.
The Holiday Inn hotel was the first drop off point for the shuttle bus. It’s a nice looking hotel, with that big clarinet on the side of the building, but it’s a little outside the center of theLäs mer
We were soon dropped off very close to our hotel. I’m glad that it wasn’t much of a walk. Even though it’s still early in the day, I’m starting to become a little worn out.

New Orleans has a look and feel that is so much different than any other city we’ve ever been to. The sights around the city, like this balcony, are so eye catching and unique.
These iconic balconies in the French Quarter are so beautiful and really sets the mood for the slower and more laid back feel of New Orleans. They are so photogenic!
We’ve been reading so many good reviews about this place that it made us very eager to try it. Kathy is wanting to try all the different types of Cajun and creole food so this place should beLäs mer
