We're inside the elevator and starting to go up the Eiffel Tower. I had expected the elevator to be in the center of the tower but, instead, it's on the side of the towers and goes up at a slight Czytaj więcej

We made it to the first level but we're still only about halfway to the top. The general admission ticket only takes you up this far and you have to buy the upgraded ticket if you want to get to the Czytaj więcej

I like the design of these viewers. They look very old fashioned and, despite being so polished, have that old-world European look to them. We're not high up enough to need these viewers yet but it's Czytaj więcej

Feeling Cold

It was a bit colder being up so high with little protection from the wind but I was surprised by how cold Kathy was feeling. I was fine with just my jacket but Kathy actually zipped up her winter Czytaj więcej

We opted to get the tickets that let us go all the way to the top of the Eiffel Tower and we’re ready to ride the elevator up. See you at the top!
At the Top

We’re at the top of the Eiffel Tower and so happy that we decided to go all the way up. If you’re only going to go half way, then why bother?
What a View!

We certainly picked a day with great weather to visit the Eiffel Tower. The sky is very clear and let’s us see so far away. Paris looks beautiful!
Watch Out!

Signs like this make us very nervous. Nobody wants to be robbed and with so many signs like this posted all over the city it makes us feel like Paris isn’t very safe. We’re on our guard though Czytaj więcej

This sign is much more pleasant than the previous one. We did kiss on top of the Eiffel Tower.. many times! It’s such a romantic spot!
At the Top

The Sun is Setting

The sun is starting to go down and this is exactly why I picked this time to visit the Eiffel Tower. We’re able to enjoy it during the daytime, sunset and evening. I’m hoping to get some really Czytaj więcej
Not So Crowded

I’m very surprised that there’s so few people here at the top of the Eiffel Tower. I was expecting, for such a popular tourist destination, it would be packed it it would be so hard to enjoy the Czytaj więcej
On Top of the World

I’m loving the effects that I’m able to get with my fisheye lens. From the top of the Eiffel Tower it looks like you can see the curvature of the earth. It’s an easy effect to achieve with such Czytaj więcej
Caged In

I’m not really happy with the cage like bars surrounding me but I can understand why they are there. At least the holes between the bars are big enough to point a camera lens through and get Czytaj więcej
I’m On Top of the World

I love using my fisheye lens, especially for shots like this. By aiming the camera a certain way, it looks as if I’m so high up that I’m actually able to see the curvature of the earth.
Darkness Falls

It’s starting to get dark and the lights of Paris are starting to come up. I’ve seen Paris by day, at sunset and now I’m ready for the night.

Beautiful Nights

The lights have just started coming up and Paris already looks so beautiful. As it gets darker I’m expecting things to look even better!
