We landed in Madrid at evening, picked up the car and drove to our "Dear Hotel" (funny name...). The hotel was great, and really central. We walked around a bit, tried to find something decent to eat, but end up in an OK restaurant. We went to bed and slept well before the drive to Portugal.Read more

From Madrid we head straight to Nazare. The way was nice and when we finally got to the coast, we entered the town of Nazare. This place is known for the biggest waves in the world, that sometimes are as high as 30 meters. We didn't got to see the real massive waves, but still 6-7 m is still impressive.Read more

We drove to town right on sunset. We had a beautiful hotel right on the beach. The town was pretty quiet, but still very chilled. We had a great dinner at "Tik tapas" and a late night sushi snack (at least those of us who can still eat sushi...)Read more

We drove from Ericiera south towards Lisbon, the way was just amazing with small villages right on the coast.

After a nice drive down the coast we got to this nice town close to Lisbon, that is a good spot to catch smaller waves than in the open coast of Ericiera.

We got to Lisbon and saw the sunset on a rooftop with an amazing view of the Lisbon bay. The rooftop was part of a cool designers facility called LX Factory (Elchi factory as it prinounced in Portuguese). From there we took a taxi to the "timeout food market", tasted the famous "Pastel de neta" at the Manteigaria, and just walked around the city.Read more

After a long morning of looking for a good place to surf, we got to the a nice quiet bay next to Peniche. The waves were great, and we had relaxed dinner on the beach.

After a few hours drive from Peniche, we arrived to Porto. The hotel was right in the middle of town. We walked around and had dinner in a restaurant that got stuck in the 80's.

We took a free walking tour, and got to see the old city of Porto. We relaxed a little bit, had lunch in a very good place, and than Yaara went to do some shopping and I went to surf.
After sunset, we walked to Gaia- the town in the other side of the river to watch the view of Porto. We ended up having dinner in a crazy sea food restaurant called "Ostras & Coisas"Read more

Woke up, got in the car and started driving north. We got to this nature reserve, but a lot of it was burned. Still was beautiful. Than we drove till 20:00, had dinner next to the airport, and went to our flight back home.Read more
