The crown jewel of the Cusco area, the lost city of the Inca - machu Picchu.

It was never found by the Spanish and was abandoned for around 400 years until an american researcher rediscovered it around 1915.

The city inhabited only around 1000 people at its height, and featured agriculture, factory and residential areas.Baca lagi
