    Our first stop in Japan was on one of the northernmost islands called Hokkaido. The town Hakodate has a lot of history because it was one of the first international trading ports in Japan.
    We had fun taking the tram through town where we learned the proper way to get on and off.
    We visited a fort in the shape of a pentagon. Then, back across town where we took the ropeway up to the top of the mountain and back. Then we walked around in some of the historical district before visiting the red brick warehouses and heading back to the ship.    Read more
