9. Day Niigata Komatsuyu 45km

Super special day! I was exhausted and trying to run away from the sun in vain. When I reached Niigata I was looking for a Hot Spring(Onsen or Sento) to relax and clean myself. Luckily I found this Sento combined with a Yakitori place. I was able to order my food before entering the water so I could get my food right on time when I finished.

While entering the Yakitori place, I immediately got invited by the Japanese to sit with them at the bar. They ordered beer for me and we were chatting for a long long time. After hours of drinking, eating and laughing, I realized it's already really late to find a place to sleep in the tent. Akira San(the Yakitori owner) offered me to just sleep on the Tatami in the Yakitori place.

Such a special experience!
