Manila - Big city life

Manila has been a warm, welcoming return to a bigger city. With its 13 million inhabitants, this city definitely ranks among the largest on earth. The streets were often mentioned as crowded and chaotic, but I found that to be far from the truth.

The bustling bigger cities in Vietnam had a lot of traffic, these ones definitely felt safer and more organized. Sure, there were a lot of cars and motorcyclists, but definitely not as chaotic as Saigon or Hanoi.

This city has been a quick stopover for a bigger part of a trip that I am about to embark on. Meeting all sorts of different people has been good for my soul. What I definitely found out about myself on this trip is that I am a social being, and I tend to make friends from all over the place.Read more
