Well here we are, Dover and in the line for the ferry.. The crossing was super smooth and we were soon on our way to our first stop. Bruges in Belgium in plenty of time for dinner in the Market Place.

Starting our next adventure now as we leave Bruges and head towards the Black Forest. Booked a one night stay at the Ibis Hotel in the Port du Luxembourg which is actually in France

After leaving the Ibis this morning we have made better time than I thought we would so a decision is made to spend the afternoon in Strasbourg. Good move that was I highly recommend a visit there.
The Black Forest

The Hotel Dormero in Freudenstadt is where we are staying for the next couple of days with a plan to see some of the forest and towns.

It’s important to stay fit and hydrated in this hot weather while on holiday so we have found a Golf Course just up the road from where we are staying where we can play a full eighteen holes.

As we are waiting for Brian and Julie to arrive with their hire car we are off to the mountains in a gondola 🚠 and when we return I suspect they will be in the fish pond swimming.

We are back on track now and a free bus ride into Innsbruck is on the cards.

I say it is rather warm up here, ☀️ just as well that there is a place to buy some beer and cool down a bit while watching the Paraglider’s.
