    Channel Tunnel

    Left home this morning at about 10.00am. Apart from the usual nonsense on the M25 the trip to the tunnel was ok. Surprisingly the train had few customers as you can see from the photo.
    Billy the eBay bear was on hand just in Case!

    Le Crotoy

    Ok that’s it!
    We are through the tunnel and off the train. Now on our merry way.
    Only as far as Le Crotoy and parked up on a large Aire by the small port. Loads of Motorhomes here and I am thinking that it is time for beer 🍺.
    Been for a wander around the town and grabbed a couple of essentials. Namely wine and baguette 🥖 plus a bit of flan.    Les mer

    Saint-Valery sur-Somme

    Weather is not so bad so it is off on our bikes today to Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme.
    Nice ride along the well marked Vélo route for about an hour that goes into the centre of this bustling seaside town. If anybody is going to do this ride take a picnic lunch with you as the queues for the restaurants are way to long.Les mer

    Arromanches-les-Bains

    Parked up on one of the two Aires in Arromanches, home of the the Mulberry Harbours. The town has a couple of museums and a small 360degree cinema to help us remember the not so pleasant past. But the centre is lively with plenty of bars and cafes ☕️ to choose from. Even a Fish and Chip restaurant.Les mer

    Le Treport

    Popped into the campsite at Le Tréport for an overnight stay before heading back to Calais and through the tunnel to home.
    Weather here at this time is poor with light rain and wind making it all feel a bit chilly. Started to walk into town but gave up because of the weather. Did manage to grab a couple of photos though.Les mer
