Pine Trees Leisure Park

Whoo hoo made it to the Pine Trees Leisure Park in Tyndrum. Home for the next 7 nights of peace and quiet 🤫 and more Red Squirrels 🐿 than I have ever seen!
Tyndrum

A short walk from the campsite to the village in fabulous sunshine.
Forest Drive

Decided on a drive into the Trossachs today on the aptly named Three Loch Forest Drive.
Fort William

A trip into Fort William today. Well only the Railway Station really 🚉 so that we could catch the steam train to Mallaig and back.
Mallaig

End of the line for the Steam Train. Not much happening here. It’s cold, windy and wet plus to top all that the restaurants are full! Oh well fish and chips it is then.
Oban

A trip into Oban today for lunch, a browse in the local shops and sniff out the local Oban Gin. All in the sunshine 🌞 as well
Kilchurn Castle

Spotted this rather grand looking relic from the past as we made the return drive from Oban. Thought we should stop and grab a photo or two. 📸
Firkin Point

Leaving pine trees for Edinburgh takes us back along the shores of Loch Lomond so we stopped a couple of times for the view. Here is the first of them “Firkin point”.
Luss

The village of Luss is our second stop as we head south before heading off to Edinburgh. Don’t use the Ice Cream van as I am certain the owner is related to Dick Turpin.
