Wherever I Roam-ania

Bit of a change of plan today as what I had planned went wrong 🤔
We originally planned to do the hop on hop off bus to make the most of our city day, but after wandering to multiple stops and not being able to find it we found out it wasn't running. Then found out museums arent open on Mondays 😂

So for plan b we went to the Romanian village which our taxi driver from the airport recommended.
It was a bit like St Fagans but absolutely massive, with lots of old buildings from around Romania. We really enjoyed it and spent ages looking around. Some of them looked like sets from horror movies!

Afterwards we went to the Arc de Triumph (copied Paris) and the King Michael park where we had some fun street food. I enjoyed my potato spiral!

We then headed back to the city via Victoria Street where all the designer shops are. Had a gelato stop and then a nap again at the apartment before heading out for the evening.

We went to a Van Gogh bar which was fun, then a traditional restaurant again. We enjoyed trying mici, kind of a meatball sausage.

Afterwards we went to a bar where we tried papanasi, which was like a warm doughnut with cream and sour cherries, delicious!Read more
