Shah Alam to Baling by Bus

Shah Alam is the state capital of Selangor, which is located in the Klang Valley of Peninsula Malaysia. Shah Alam is one of the modern cities that has been well planned and is near to a few large townships like Kuala Lumpur. The city offers an extensive range of natural and cultural attractions. It is one of the best places if you are travelling to Malaysia along with your family. The shopaholics will be completely impressed with hundreds of stalls selling products at dirt-cheap rates along the road. Not to forget the ever-increasing food outlets that specialize in local as well as international cuisines.

There is no specific month to visit Shah Alam, as it is hot and humid throughout the year. As my journey was about to end in Shah Alam I came across the beautiful city of Baling online as I was surfing. Looking at the attractions there, I had made up my mind that my next city of visit would be Baling. Off I went to this website https://www.redbus.my/bus-tickets/shah-alam-to-… and booked my bus tickets in a jiffy. The entire procedure was complete literally in about 3 minutes and I did all of it through my cell phone. A visit to Baling will make you feel that you are experiencing Malaysia as it was in the year 1957. Although the city roads are still under development there are buses plying to every nook and corner of the city.

The two major operators plying on this route between Shah Alam and Baling are Trans Nasional and D Amour Enterprise. Trans Nasional has about two buses in the entire day – the first one departs at 9:30 am in the morning and the other departs at 9:30 pm at night. There are about 30 seats in the bus and the tickets have a fixed price of MYR41. D Amour Enterprise has a bus that departs at 11:30 pm at night and completes the journey by 5:30 am in the morning. The cost of the tickets are MYR 58 but the price is definitely worth it as it is one of the most luxurious operators plying in Malaysia. There is ample of legroom and elbow space in this bus. The seats have a charging dock for your smart phones and laptops. D Amour is an express bus and one of the most preferred ones by the locals as well as the tourists. The duration of the journey is clocked at 6 hours as the bus travels in the dead of the night when there is no traffic at all. Your duration may however change if you choose to travel in the morning by Trans Nasional based on whether you experience traffic. I generally prefer travelling by Trans Nasional but this time I chose D Amour only for its night departure time. The buses stop for about 20 to 30minutes after about two and half hours for rest room breaks. The operators were quite interactive and helpful.
