So since Universal Studios is a tiny bit pricy (a one-day ticket costing 144$ per person), we opted for the cheaper version that focuses more on the movie making itself, Warner Bros Studios. After a slow morning we drove out to Hollywood and saw the sets of Pretty Little Liars, Gilmore Girls, Friends and some places where other famous scenes were shot. What we learned: film-making is as minimalistic as possible. They use a manual pump + waterbucket to film someone washing their hands and thus recycle a lot, rather than installing plumbing. Makes sense!
After our tour we drove through Sunset Boulevard and Beverly Hills.
And to end the night: a basketball game in the Crypto.com stadium, LA Sparks vs Washington Mystics.
And in case the names didn't hint at it: it was womens basketball.
(I only noticed that detail post buying tickets, but it was still a great game, even though we planned to watch mens basketball.) 🤓🎞️📽️📺🎥🏀⛹🏼‍♀️⛹🏾‍♀️🏙️
