The 23 June is 'St. John's Eve' when the Spanish set fires....of course they don't do it much where we live in Andalucía because they would set the whole place afire but further north they do set fires.....mainly on beaches and headlands. Now St. John's Eve being yesterday means that today is the feast of St. John (Baptist apparently....I had to look it up) as the whole world would know except for us who chose that very day to go to this church of St. John along with several thousand other people. I had to edit out an awful lot of them to get the 'empty' church on a headland that I wanted for my pic.もっと詳しく
