Chicken Racing, Winton

Wow, camel racing then pig racing ... now chicken racing!
The chicken's feathers have been dyed and they are all trained to chase after a remote control car, (which is filled with chicken feed).
There is also an auction which raises funds for a local charity. When we were there we bet $6 on the orange chicken, "Apricot" and $12 on a multi colored chicken named "Diamantina". The prize money was $50. Sadly we didn't win but it's great fun to watch.Læs mere
