Spiders webs, a tame Magpie goose, sitting by a camp fire and fish (barramundi) and chips at Karumba a Forest Kingfisher and a termite mound with barbed wire through the middle of it!!

We went fossicking for Topaz and other semi precious stones. Sadly we didn’t find anything!
It was fun to do. Pick axe and shovel in hand we had a go! Hot work, but under the trees in a dry creek bed!

ПутешественникThis area is not in drought although it’s very dry and dusty, it’s just how their winters are!! They have more monsoonal weather so plenty of torrential rain in summer which fills up dams and reservoirs! We are heading into the drought further south!
