We took lots of water and some food and on the second day we we went up a treacherous dirt road very cleverly manoeuvred by Gordon and helped by Wally the dog!!
We went fossicking for Topaz and other semi precious stones. Sadly we didn’t find anything!
It was fun to do. Pick axe and shovel in hand we had a go! Hot work, but under the trees in a dry creek bed!
ViajeroIt was quite safe Evelyn! Too shallow to swim in and one hadn’t been seen near the camp ground for a long time!! If ever!!
