Sunshine and snow - part 2

After skiing we drove to see the memorising lakes at Kananaskis which are one of my favourite places in the world. It started snowing quite heavily on our hike to the lakes but we trotted along, bear spray in hand. Back in Banff we had a delicious meal at The Maple Leaf, which included a devine maple butternut squash soup, and other more familiar dishes. As we were eating the snow outside engulfed all the roofs, cars, benches and bikes in a white blanket. And that's spring in the Rockies for you.Read more
