Roadtrip Day 4 - Taupo & Napier

Exploring the thermal pools of Waimangu Volcanic Valley in the rain this morning before heading across to Napier via Taupo (very briefly due to torrential storms!). It was a slightly hair raising final couple of hours to our journey as we inadvertantly traversed the longest stretch of road with no fuel station in the North Island with approximately quarter of a tank of fuel! Shout out to the Yaris though because despite being on empty for 30km + we managed to make it!Les mer
