Roadtrip Day 13 - Cathedral Cove

Ben's birthday today and the sun was out to celebrate (a lot of this roadtrip blog has been weather centred - you can take the girl out of Britain but some traditions are immutable). We headed over to Cathedral Cove for ice cream, a hike and a swim (a first for Ben on his birthday - British seas are rather less welcoming in November) and looked in at a (very busy) Hot Water Beach to burn our feet, before heading back to Coromandel Town for yet more food and cake!
