Paparoa track day 5

Left Pororari hut 7.50am. Mainly downhill today. Was not too cold to start with but got colder as we went down and was quite frosty in places. Was in forest then got to river and flattened out a bit. Was 4 bridges to cross.
Had lunch at Cave stream bridge junction in a sunny spot.
Soon after track split into cycle and walking track. After this was the most scenic with stunning river gorge with nikau and fern palm trees and clear green water and Cliff faces. Even a short rock tunnel and 2 lots of stone steps We took so many photos.
Track today was much better surface and easier to walk on
Took 7 hours but lots of stops and photos.
Checked into Driftwood cottage, a x 2 bedroom house. Had shower, cuppa then to pub to dinnerOkumaya devam et
