Bergen Day 1

After a comfortable flight from LAX to Oslo, we boarded a short flight to Bergen, then a light rail train into the town center. The sun welcomed us to Norway today! This was a treat because it has rained all month! The wharf area is lively, and the city's charm is here. After a delicious dinner of Pan Fried Wolf Fish, we had a fun but crazy experience! We learned of this from Michael and Betsy. It's called the Magic Ice Bar. You're given a hefty parka and warm gloves, then taken to a gallery of ice sculptures. Did I mention it's -5 degrees? Everything, from the sculptures to the tables and seating, to the bar and the glass your drink is served in, is ice. The sculptures were intricate. It was a fun experience, but we didn'tl last long in there! It's almost 11 pm now and the sun is still out! But we're exhausted so no problem! Goodnight!Okumaya devam et
