The Bullet!

Today was a transition day. We boarded the bullet train (Shinkansen) at 10. The train can reach speeds of 320 km per hour. It was a smooth, fast ride with beautiful scenery.
We transferred from the bullet train to the Express train in Nagoya and continued on to Takayama.
Once we settled into our 'compact' rooms we headed out to explore the town, stop for a drink and then headed to dinner.
Dinner was a dining experience where the meat was cooked right on the table. They only provided chopsticks so that was fun!
We headed back to the hotel and had a rousing game of Five Crowns where, as you would expect, I did not win!Meer informatie
