Arrived in Athen

Arrived in Athens after another 5 hours on the plane, another meal and 2 more movies. Picked up from airport by pre arranged bus to Athens Centre Square Hotel, central Athens. From the Airport to the Hotel-so much graffiti and Ramshackled buildings. Educated by our driver on a few Greek phrases. Hotel was a Great location, walk to everything needed. Small & Tiny elevator, kids ended up in the kitchen.

The Streets of Athens are vibrant but so relaxing.
The colors are blues hues.
The eateries are inviting with traditional music from the musicians.
We ate sensational souvlakis and Baclava.
Scattered amongst the trendy shops are market stalls and original ancient churches well preserved & open to visit.
