First Day skiing

First, we went on the bus and drove to Coronet Peak. Ben and Jon had their first skiing lesson at Kea Club. We were all wearing ski helmets and clicky ski boots that click onto the skis. Skiing is like pushing a car down the hill - you have to put your weight forward and do the S pattern. Ben got to set off on his own and went so fast his skis came off, Jon crashed into another and Daddy crashed into Mummy. The snow was as white as a lamb's fleece and tasted like an icy pole.
