Day 2 Montrose CA

It was a beautiful sunny day, in the 70s and it felt great. We are staying in an Air Bnb less than two miles from Patrick's apartment. It is just a bedroom and bathroom in the back of the house with a private entrance, We spent the morning with Jen and the kids, then took Peter and Betsy with us to Ash Wednesday service at their church. After lunch we all went to the Wildlife Learning Center. This was a return trip because we enjoyed it so much two years ago. It is small and you can see the animals pretty close up. There were monkeys, foxes, a lynx and a bobcat, eagles and owls and a parrot, tortoises, snakes, alligator, sloths and even a giraffe. The kids enjoyed it a lot. After a stop for ice cream on the way home, we spent the evening with the kids. Patrick had to return to church for the evening Ash Wed service, so Jen went too and we stayed with the kids, reading books and playing games. And we get to do it again tomorrow!Baca lagi
