Monterosso al Mare

Time to move on. We loved our time in Monterosso, one of the 5 villages of the Cinque Terre National Park. We stayed at the Hotel Marina, a small family run 23 room hotel right in the heart of old town. The people were lovely, the breakfasts were wonderful, we were treated to a pesto tasting, and had nice comfortable rooms. The weather was perfect every day. We walked everywhere, spent an entire day on one of the many beaches, walked a beautiful path called the Via Dell’Amore “Walk of Love” along the Liqurian Sea, ate wonderful Italian cuisine, too much gelato, and visited the other villages by train.Read more
