After our cooking class

After enjoying the delicious meal we made, we wandered a bit, and joined all the tourists viewing the balcony dedicated to Juliet. There was a golden statue of her in the courtyard as well and oodles of tourists. There is apparently a myth about putting your hand on her right breast bringing you good luck, so you can imagine how many men’s hands we saw do that…. Eye roll! Check!

It rained some this afternoon and if the rain stops we’ll be on a bus to Lake Garda tomorrow to a little town called Sirmione. Fingers crossed that it’s a nice day because we’d love to sit on the beach again.Read more
