Another nice quiet day on the river with very few boats or people. Had a chat along the river with 2 couples in their early seventies in double kayaks doing Renmark to Morgan. Shows it's never too late!
Heard scrabbling noises next to my tent late last night. Upon inspection it was 2 brush tailed possums who had found my salted peanuts in a zip lock bag, chewed the bag open and ate about half a cup of peanuts. Hope it gave them indigestion!

TravelerFood source may be? Remember the scene from “Raising Arizona” - “When there were no Crawdad to be found, we ate sand”. “You ate sand?”. Actually I think it is cleaned so it can be used to mix with concrete etc
