Paddled the last few kilometres of the Murray this morning before it opens up into Lake Alexandrina. Too windy and rough on the lake, so luckily I spotted a little beach in kilometres of reeds, set up camp and have spent thee afternoon reading in my sleeping bag. Quite pleasant actually!
The plan tomorrow is to paddle down the eastern side of the Lake to Point McLeay then across to Point Sturt for tomorrow night. If the wind doesn't ease tomorrow it will be an emergency evacuation to Clayton!
