Paddling, paddling and more paddling! This is a long stretch of about 300 kms between Wilcannia and Menindee. Hopefully I'll make it to Nelia Gaari Station tomorrow for a shower and some maintenance on the kayak.

Jock Zonfrillo did have quite a life - I've heard him speak about it, including the traumatic early years of his career in the UK. Good to know that he recorded his autobiography before his untimely death. [Eileen]

TravelerSometimes the river looks quite broad and in other spots narrow. Is this how it is or due to the photo angle?
TravelerIt's fairly consistent at around 50 to 75 metres I guess, widening on the bends. A lot narrower than the Murray which is at least 200 metres!
