    We visited the Falkland Islands in 2020 and though it was rainy, windy and cold, we enjoyed it very much. Our visit today was even more enjoyable. While it was still windy, it wasn’t rainy or too cold. And it’s penguin territory!

    Last time we went to Bluff Cove; this time we went to Newans Station where there are about 200 pairs of breeding gentoo penguins. And there was one random king penguin!?! The penguins were as entertaining as ever.

    After our penguin outing, we headed to the Victory Bar in downtown Stanley to meet our friends Yvonne and John for lunch. They’re on a sister ship and in port as well. It was a lovely catch up over fish and chips.

    After lunch, we took a walk around town and then headed back to the ship.
