Richards Bay was new to us but after consulting our South African friends on board we didn’t feel there was anything particularly interesting for us in this port. We decided to simply take the shuttle to the mall and stock up on South African wine as we head to Asian ports. Wine is incredibly inexpensive here relative to home.
