Auckland, NZ (day 3/3); flight to Tahiti

It’s our last day in Auckland and it’s a rainy one. Got our packing done and went for breakfast. Came back and checked out, stored our bags, and despite the rain, went for a walk to a different section of Ponsonby. We had our umbrellas and it wasn’t pouring so all was good.

We got back to the hotel and decided we would go to the airport early because I had been unsuccessful getting us checked in online and wanted to be sure that if there was any hiccup, we would have more than enough time to deal with it. As it turned out, the reason I couldn’t check in was because I didn’t have an onward flight from Tahiti. Once the Air New Zealand person put in our flight a week from now, tada!

Even though it’s rainy, it appears our flight is on time. It’s a five hour flight and will land at 1:30 a.m….today! We will have another February 26. Groundhog Day.🤣Läs mer
