Lazy Leap Day, Tahiti

Given it was “Leap Day,” we figured we’d indulge ourselves and have a lazy day. We didn’t do much of anything but hang out on our deck and head to the sandy infinity pool in the late afternoon. Capped off the day watching the sun set. Perfection.

(We did have a funny incident in getting a corkscrew for our bottle of wine. I called the front desk and asked where I might find one within the bungalow. She put me on hold and came back to say that maintenance would be over with one. I did think it was a little peculiar that she was sending maintenance but who am I to question. Next thing you know, the doorbell rings and there’s a maintenance guy with a tool bag offering me a screwdriver. 🤣 We all had a good laugh over that one and we soon had a corkscrew delivered.)Read more
