Tonight i’ve met my Co Travelers.
With the guide we are 11, two trom England, me and 7 from Australia😂
We went for diner and talked, i’m sure we’ll have a great time together!

We drove a part of the golden circle route. We stopped at the great geyser!
It was very impressive how strong the power is to blow the water up to 55 meters in the air! There was a certain smell of sulfur and the waterdrops were warm!Read more

There was so much ice!
I can’t belive it! it was just too beautiful to be true! The colors were just stunning, the roar of the water and the light of the sunset!

Northern Lights.

For the night we’ll stay at Hotel Fljótshlíd.
It a cute little home on a horse farm. It’s in the middle of kinda nowhere😂
In the night our guid woke us up, the northern light are here!
I looked in the sky.. and nothing exept clouds and maybe a cloud which looked a tiny bit different.. But with the camera i was able to catch the magical green light and i was just happy eventhough i expected more💫✨
The nightsky was also stunning, i‘ve seen so many stars!

The breakfast was delicious they even had cinnamonbuns!!!Read more

Skógafoss

When the sun was back on the sky we were at the famous Skógafoss!
I took the stairs and top and, wow, the view was stunning! The landsacape is so rough and it’s spacious that i couldn’t see where it ends because there was just the horizon!🤩
The colors was fantastic and the waterfall rushes down mountain!Read more

Vík í Mýrdal

We made a short visit in Vík. I went to the black sand beach (because of the volcano) and enjoyed the great weather and the fact that i could walk for a bit and not sit in the bus🥳

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon

OMG, WOW!✨
I really have no idea how to describe this breathtaking place of earth!
The Glacier lagoon is a big sea where the melted water from the glacier bulit a lake and there is a entrance from the sea so it never freezes❄️
There were some seals and gigantic icebergs in so many blue colors👍🏻Read more

Diamond Beach

Okee, on this beach it was even better than in the lagoon...
WOW. The black sand, the cristalclear iceblocks and the colors of the sunset made me absolutely speechless!
This place is a miracle and i‘ve never seen anything as beautifal as this on earth!💎Read more

Reynisfjara

We are in a pretty violent storm. The wind shakes our bus and we can hear the angry whistle of it!
Our next destination should be Reynisfjara beach, another black sand beach..
At the restaurant the glas in the entrancedoor broke in many shards because the wind slammed the door!
Karl (our guide) said, if we want to go to the beach it’s on our own risk, it’s really dangerous!
Soo of course i needed to go and Chris and i made us on the way.
And it was pretty intense, the wind was so heavy we nearly couldn’t move.. when we arrived the sand blew in our face and the waves were gigantic and unpredictable🌊

So we went back quickly!

The rest of the day we spent on a farm. We walked a bit around visited the animals, they even had a babygoat!!🐐Read more

Today we head back to Reykjavík, we made a stop at this cool waterfall. It was very slippery and it had sooo many icicles❄️
We even saw some icelandic horses which enjoyed the winterwonderland🤩

Back in town we walked around and enjoyed the colorful city. We saw many cool street arts and we had some delicious cinnamonbuns😍

For diner we went to a traditional icelandic fish restaurant. I had salmon but someone ordered puffin and someone else the whale, I could taste it but I thought it was really disgusting🐋Read more

Later my plane will bring me back home.😣
Soo, Eva, Chris and i decided to visit the church and the harbour one last time.
On top we had a great view over Reykjavík and even the sun was nearly up.

It was an amazing experience for me. I‘ve seen so many stunning and breathtaking places, felt the icecold air, saw the northen lights twice, enjoyed the snow and the company of these great people. ♡
I never thought i‘ll be able to travel with strangers or kinda on my own with a language I only knew from school😅
But i‘m still alive and loaded with great memories🥰Read more
