Zumaio to Bilbao and Guernika to Zumaio

The last few days have been too hot. I'm struggling even though we are leaving at 6am and I have managed to speed up a bit. Thankfully a lot of the walking is in beautiful woods, but the walk along a long flat road to Zumaio yesterday at 2 ish was brutal. The hotel was relatively luxurious though, and we had a shorter walk today. We are meeting more pilgrims now, and yesterday was enjoyable as I walked with two interesting women from Bremen and Melbourne. Bilbao is beautiful, and I will have to come back and visit the Guggenheim which is closed on Mondays.Læs mere
