Muros de Nalon

Tonight we are staying in a pilgrim hostel, so have actually seen other walkers which didn't happen yesterday or the day before. At times it has felt like we are the only people doing this route. The walk today was prettier, a distant wind turbine factory filling the valley west of Avilés and then rolling hills and eucalyptus forests. The path was all over the place with conflicting yellow arrows, but we made it here by one, so have been relaxing and waiting for the dinner which the people running the hostel cook every night. There are people here from Spain, France, Netherlands, canary islands, and the US. Mostly older.Læs mere
