The flight was fine. Sam was wayyyyyy too tall for the shower cubicle which was hilarious. We walked around for a bit and did some shopping. We had a nice meal at a great Thai place.

Where it all went wrong

Went to Cork Gaol and then we split up. Most people went to the Titanic museum but it was a train ride away so I was wary of missing the flight home (oh the irony). So I stayed with Alison and Deryth and we went some markets we found by the docks. Our flight was supposed to be around 11 but there was severe fog so it kept getting delayed. The flight eventually was cancelled and we were stuck.Read more

The airport was small so the shops closed early. We didn't really have much food and water and were only given a 3 euro voucher which didn't go far. Me, Sam, Alice and George went out for a vape every now and then and at one point me and Sam were given handwritten boarding passes so we could get through security which was a bit funny.

After a 19 hour delay we eventually got a plane back home. I lost my woolly top cause I was using it as a pillow when sleeping on a bench and left it there when it was time to go.Read more
