Visp to Zermatt

GezginLooks like slate. Only more gray than I'm used to seeing. Do you think it might be concrete tiles?

GezginIt was indeed slate or whatever the native rock around is called. I didn’t see many houses that use it though. Most of the “old” buildings have a stone foundation and then are wood for the main construction. I would thin the slate is too heavy on wood with you’d need to go all stone construction.

GezginMaybe it’s tubing and they run hot water through it to keep the snow load down..... never mind.... i looked closer.... it looks like slate
